Digital
silence

Craft gives form. Discreet technology adds context. A physical place can respond to a person's presence without losing its atmosphere.

Digital silence
  • Quiet luxury
  • Craft and technology
  • Five senses of place
  • Black, gold and oak
  • Presence without a screen
  • Spatial awareness

True luxury does not shout from a screen. It lives in matter, with invisible technology.— Marcin Jamro, PhD, DSc, Eng.

We do not start with technology. We start with a physical place and a question: “What should a person who has just walked in here experience?”

Solid oak, mass-dyed paper, gilding you can feel under your fingertip, and art are what the guest touches. Hidden technology gives them context, memory and the ability to respond — and does not take the silence away.

Odoardo™ is not a single device. It is five independent senses that let a place respond, bring people together, create an image, keep memories and be present, both within its own walls and beyond them.

Workshop

Craft
you can see

Anyone can write “handmade.” We show the hands, the chisel and the solid oak.

The house ledger

Every object has
its own number

Each case, cube and frame leaves the workshop engraved with a unique number. We record the same number in the house ledger, beside the date it was made.

The number is not decoration. Years later, it identifies exactly this piece. The number stays when the object changes hands, so its history does not start over.

The Odoardo™ principle

Innovation is not about adding screens but about joining technology with matter in the right way, so that gesture, material and relationship stay in the foreground.

The key to the idea

What does it mean
for a place to sense?

A “sense” is the name for one ability of a place. Each product in the Odoardo™ ecosystem gives a space a different, independent way of responding to people, remembering what happens in it and, over time, building its own unmistakable character.

3

Abilities a person has

The first three abilities of a space echo the human senses. They describe how a place can respond to a person's presence.

Touch Odoardo Soul™
Recognizes a deliberate gesture and responds with the right context.
Hearing Odoardo Alibi™
Gives people a reason for deep conversation and a real encounter.
Sight Odoardo Art™
Builds a changing, curated identity for the place through signed art.
2

Abilities a space has

The last two senses describe not a person but the place, as a lasting point one can return to.

Memory Odoardo Lens™
Keeps the cinematic experience of a visit and lets you return to it.
Presence Odoardo Space™
Exists beyond the walls and stays within reach after the visit, from anywhere.
From the founder

Why did I
create this?

Hello,

Odoardo™ began with an observation: today, technology often takes silence away from places, and without silence there is no luxury. I set out to see whether it could be the other way around — whether technology could disappear into matter and give a space back its own voice and… its silence.

Everything you will find in Odoardo™ grew out of that question. Solid oak, heavy paper, gilding you can feel under your fingertip and signed art have remained what matters most. The digital layer appears only when it is needed, and withdraws when it is no longer essential.

If there is a place you care about, tell me about it. Everything here begins with a conversation.

In brief

The Odoardo™ manifesto describes one principle: matter first, technology second. The objects are made of solid oak, mass-dyed paper and gilding you can feel under your fingertip, and the technology inside disappears, appearing only when it is truly needed. From this principle come the five senses of place: Odoardo Soul™ as touch, Odoardo Alibi™ as hearing, Odoardo Art™ as sight, Odoardo Lens™ as memory and Odoardo Space™ as presence.

Questions and answers

What does it mean that a space “gains awareness”?

A physical place receives senses: through touch it recognizes a gesture (Odoardo Soul™), through hearing it opens a conversation (Odoardo Alibi™), through sight it builds an identity (Odoardo Art™), through memory it keeps experiences (Odoardo Lens™), and through presence it exists beyond its own walls (Odoardo Space™).

Is Odoardo™ technology visible in the space?

No. Gesture, material and relationship stay in the foreground — the technology is hidden in handcrafted objects and does not take the silence away from the place.

Who is behind Odoardo™?

Odoardo™ was created by Marcin Jamro, PhD, DSc, Eng. — an entrepreneur, author, scientist and programmer, about whom you can learn more at marcin.com. The company that runs Odoardo™ is TITUTO Sp. z o.o.

Do all five senses have to be implemented at once?

No. Each sense works on its own and does not require the others. The senses do, however, complement one another.

Why did you choose oak?

Because oak ages beautifully and is also a material in which technology can be hidden. Variations in grain and tone are a feature of solid wood, not a flaw in the piece.

Is Odoardo™ only for commercial properties?

No. The senses of place work wherever a space matters — in a hotel, a restaurant, a clinic, a law firm, a gallery, and at home too. Every product can be bought by a company or by a private person.

What are the research and the yearbook alongside the five senses?

They are two layers that are not products. Odoardo Research™ is a set of indexes of places with possible cinematic potential, built from public data. The Filmable Book by Odoardo™ is a curated, free yearbook of spaces. Both are open to everyone, including those who never buy anything from us.

If the place remembers, what happens to a guest's data?

The soul remembers a name, if the guest chooses to give one, and the thread of the conversation — so it never asks the same thing twice. The “Forget me” button below the conversation erases the guest's name and whatever the soul remembered about them at any time, and on the next visit the soul greets them as a stranger.
