What do you depict?
A glacier, though not any particular one. My author paints the landscape at the moment it begins to fall apart.
Why is there so much black?
Black settles on the surface and slowly changes it. It is the trace of a process that has already begun and is still going on.
Why paint something that is disappearing?
My author calls this longing solastalgia — for a place that still exists but is no longer the same.
Who painted you?
Klaudia Zawada. She lives in Switzerland, sees glaciers with her own eyes — and paints them knowing that, sadly, they are fading day by day.

I have my own number and a pencil signature on my front, made by the artist's hand. The same pencil signed the letter that came to you along with me.

Yes. The quarterly price per frame decreases as the number of frames grows, and you can see the tiers in the configurator on this page. All prices include VAT.
The artist whose work is placed in a given frame receives 20% of the average net quarterly price of one of your frames (the total price of all your frames divided by their number). We do not deduct printing, framing, microchip or shipping costs from that amount.
