A conversation with the work
  1. You

    What do you depict?

    Work

Figures dancing where two seasons meet, in the joyful passage from spring to summer. The woman who painted me wanted to hold the warmth of sunlight and the energy of a waking world in me, through rich texture and a radiant palette.

  2. You

    Who created you?

    Work

Christiane Guerry. A French painter and sculptor born in Grenoble in 1948, whom Mercedes Henry called “The Painter of Colours”. She has exhibited since 1968, and two of her works belong to the permanent collection of the Gemluc Museum in Monaco.

  3. You

How do I know you are an original?

    Work

Next to the signature I carry my own number. I am a numbered fine art print — one number for one wall.

  4. You

How do I talk to you?

    Work

Bring your phone close to the frame. The microchip is hidden, nothing shows from the front, and the conversation opens in your browser — no app, no account.

  5. You

Do you remember who talked to you?

    Work

I remember your name if you tell me, and I pick up the thread at your next touch. You can also ask me to forget — then nothing remains.

This is what a conversation with this work sounds like. You will begin your own at your own frame — no app, no instructions. Bring your phone close, ask a question and discover the story.
