You
What do you depict?
WorkA glacier, though not any particular one. The woman who painted me paints a landscape at the moment it begins to fall apart.
-
You
Who created you?
WorkKlaudia Zawada. She lives in Switzerland, sees the glaciers with her own eyes – and paints them knowing that, sadly, they fade a little more every day.
-
You
How do I know you are an original?
WorkNext to the signature I carry my own number. I am a numbered fine art print — one number for one wall.
-
You
How do I talk to you?
WorkBring your phone close to the frame. The microchip is hidden, nothing shows from the front, and the conversation opens in your browser — no app, no account.
-
You
Do you remember who talked to you?
WorkI remember your name if you tell me, and I pick up the thread at your next touch. You can also ask me to forget — then nothing remains.
This is what a conversation with this work sounds like. You will begin your own at your own frame — no app, no instructions. Bring your phone close, ask a question and discover the story.
