Who is
Sara Twomey
Born in East London, the self-taught artist has painted since she can remember, finding it a great escape. She teaches the basics of painting to people of different backgrounds. Represented by Chrissy Moore Art Advisory, her work was selected for the 2018 Spectrum Miami Art Fair and Dover's Citadel Museum Art Gallery. In 2025, she joined the 'Light & Shadow' exhibition. Recently, her painting was chosen for the book Art Rising: 100 Global Talents 2026.

What do you depict?
WorkLight. Gold leaf, gold pigment, sand and metallic paint catch it on the surface, while blocks of blue give structure to geometric, abstract shapes. The paint lies at different angles, so I change with the light in the room.
